Continental Express Inc. is seeking a motivated Transportation & Logistics / Supply Chain Intern.

This paid internship provides hands‑on experience in transportation operations, logistics, fleet management, shipment coordination, and supply chain processes across the organization. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in supply chain/logistics or related field and is eager to learn how products move from origin to destination.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business, Operations Management or related field.
• Strong interest in transportation and supply chain operations.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily transportation and logistics operations.
• Coordinate shipments, deliveries, pickups, and transportation schedules.
• Monitor shipments and assist with tracking loads and delivery status.
• Support dispatch and transportation planning activities.
• Maintain accurate transportation and shipment records.
• Review operational data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Schedule drivers, equipment, and resources.
• Monitor KPIs related to transportation and supply chain operations.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments as needed.
• Investigate and resolve shipment, delivery, or scheduling issues.
• Participate in process-improvement and cost-reduction projects.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for management.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
