Job summary

Robert Bosch Fuel Systems, LLC in Kentwood, MI is seeking a Logistics/Shipping intern to support fast-paced manufacturing operations. You will assist with inventory control projects, shipments, and central warehousing tasks under supervision.

Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be within 50 miles of the work location. SAP knowledge is a plus and strong Excel skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Junior or Senior level).
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Must have local housing within 50 miles of our work location.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing and collaborative approach.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and solve problems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shipping/Receiving/Logistics and Manufacturing managers with activities of fast paced manufacturing operation.
• Assist with multiple projects related to inventory control, product configuration, scanning systems training, point of use improvements, shipments and general receiving, central warehousing, materials crib and general stores activities.
• Assist with continuous improvement opportunities.
