Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience in distribution/logistics/transport.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Experience in a union environment is a plus.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for day-to-day distribution operations to meet customer demand consistently and efficiently.
• Maintain supply reliability for customers and locations, ensuring FDA standards compliance.
• Schedule delivery of packaged and cryogenic products to meet internal goals and customer expectations.
• Train the Distribution Team in Linde Safety and Quality systems and requirements.
• Monitor distribution efficiencies and staffing levels to meet demand.
• Lead safety initiatives, including training, evaluations, and accident investigations.
• Control costs by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and choosing cost-efficient methods.
• Drive productivity to maximize distribution capabilities while fostering career development.
