Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC is hiring a Logistics Supervisor in Islandia, NY to supervise dispatch activities, coordinate daily operations, and ensure smooth workflow across the site. The role requires 2–4 years of related experience and a High School Diploma.

Responsibilities include supervising dispatch staff, monitoring TMW TruckMate entries, handling emergency requests, and maintaining strong communication with carriers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of directly related experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• TMW TruckMate or similar systems preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and data analysis ability.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and vehicle weights.
• Able to work graveyard hours, weekends, holidays, OT.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision and administrative representation for dispatch.
• Supervises designated dispatch staff as first line supervisor.
• Monitors and validates entries in TMW TruckMate; maintains paperwork.
• Takes emergency and non-emergency requests and dispatches units.
• Assists with all dispatch-related matters.
• Covers open shifts as needed to support staff.
• Maintains coordination between Dispatch and carrier transportation needs.
• Monitors on-time deliveries and equipment availability; minimizes delays.
• Manages yard planning to improve throughput and reduce late deliveries.
• Performs other duties as requested by the manager.
