Job summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is seeking a full-time Logistics Supervisor for the Cookeville area. The role oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control, while guiding teams to meet safety and productivity goals.

Qualifications include 3+ years in warehouse leadership, inventory/control knowledge, and experience with ERP or warehouse systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Ensuring orders are correct, complete, and shipped on schedule
• Guiding and supporting team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
• Monitoring performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement
• Keeping inventory and material flow organized and accurate
• Enforcing safety standards and handling incident reporting
• Providing training to employees and supporting continuous improvement efforts
• Managing staffing, scheduling, and overtime
• All other tasks as necessary

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Ensuring orders are correct, complete, and shipped on schedule
• Guiding and supporting team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
• Monitoring performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement
• Keeping inventory and material flow organized and accurate
• Enforcing safety standards and handling incident reporting
• Providing training to employees and supporting continuous improvement efforts
• Managing staffing, scheduling, and overtime
• All other tasks as necessary

Qualifications:
