Akima Facilities Operations on Joint Base Lewis McChord is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to process and document freight using automated systems, coordinating with customers to obtain missing shipping information.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a drug screening is required.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain DOD CAC eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Process and document freight for shipment using automated systems.
• Verify orders and ensure proper packing, labeling, and records.
• Coordinate with customers to obtain missing shipping information and resolve discrepancies.
• Track shipments and update customers on status and location.
• Resolve issues or delays and maintain accurate shipment records.
