Second shift hours are 3:00pm - 11:00pm ET. This position requires 100% in‑office presence in our Jacksonville, FL offices and does not offer remote work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in shipping/receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate tracking of shipments and documentation.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist / Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist / Oversee outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition of shipments.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams, external partners, and customers to facilitate logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and documentation for domestic and international shipments including customs.
• Maintain records and upload shipping docs (pre-ship photos, packing slips, BOL) into WorkNet.
• Provide timely customer updates and address shipment inquiries.
• Adhere to safety guidelines; cover Shipping Supervisor when absent.

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for assisting the Logistics Supervisor in coordinating the shipping activities for outbound shipments and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers and distribution centers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in supporting operational excellence by improving logistics processes, maintaining accurate shipment documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery performance and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist / Coordinate and monitor the transportation of goods ensuring timely delivery to customers and distribution centers.
• Assist / Oversee outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Communication and Coordination: Serve as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and customers to facilitate smooth logistics operations and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements for domestic and international shipments, including customs clearance and export/import regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments, and logistics operations. Upload all shipping documentation, including pre‑ship photos, packing slips and Bill of Lading (BOL) into WorkNet.
• Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries, providing updates on shipment status, and addressing any concerns or issues related to logistics.
• Adhere to established safety guidelines and procedures.
• Cover for the Shipping Supervisor when absent and any other duties as required by the manager / supervisor.

Qualifications

• Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately track and manage shipments, and documentation, ensuring all logistical tasks are executed with precision.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal teams, external partners, and customers, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the logistics process.
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including warehouse personnel, production personnel, and transportation providers, to achieve common logistics objectives.
• Customer Focus: Dedication to meeting customer needs and expectations by delivering products on time, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a high level of service quality in all logistical activities.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods (approximately 40% of the workday).
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.; Buddy lift up to 100 lbs. Mechanical assistance required for loads exceeding 100 lbs. (not added personnel).
• Must be able to bend, squat, and climb.
• Ability to perform extended periods of computer‑based work, including close visual focus.
• Office work is performed in an office setting that is climate controlled. Warehouse work is not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust and fumes.

• No direct supervision of others.
