Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing seeks a Logistics Specialist to support outbound shipments from our Jacksonville, FL offices. The role focuses on coordinating transportation, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining accurate shipment records.

Second shift 3:00pm–11:00pm ET, 100% in-office presence. You will liaise with internal teams and customers, drive process improvements, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of shipping/receiving experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to track shipments and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for liaison with teams, partners, and customers.
  • Teamwork and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Customer focus to meet needs and resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor transportation to ensure on-time delivery to customers and distribution centers.
  • Oversee outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and condition.
  • Serve as liaison between internal teams, partners, and customers to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and documentation for domestic and international shipments, including customs clearance.
  • Maintain records and upload shipping docs into WorkNet.
  • Provide high‑level customer service by promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Cover for Shipping Supervisor and perform additional duties as needed.

Logistics Specialist – IEM

The Logistics Specialist assists the Logistics Supervisor in coordinating shipping activities for outbound shipments and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers and distribution centers. The position supports operational excellence by improving logistics processes, maintaining accurate shipment documentation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Second shift hours are from 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm ET. This role requires 100 % in‑office presence in our Jacksonville, FL offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist, coordinate, and monitor the transportation of goods to ensure timely delivery to customers and distribution centers.
  • Oversee outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and customers to facilitate smooth logistics operations and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements for domestic and international shipments, including customs clearance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to shipments, uploading all shipping documentation into WorkNet.
  • Provide high‑level customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and addressing concerns related to logistics.
  • Adhere to established safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Cover for the Shipping Supervisor when absent and perform additional duties as required by the manager/supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in shipping/receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to track and manage shipments and documentation with precision.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaison with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
  • Teamwork and collaboration abilities with cross‑functional teams.
  • Customer focus to meet needs and expectations by delivering on time and resolving issues promptly.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for approximately 40 % of the workday.
  • Lift up to 50 lb.; buddy lift up to 100 lb. Mechanical assistance required for loads exceeding 100 lb.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, and climb.
  • Perform extended periods of computer‑based work with close visual focus.
  • Office work in a climate‑controlled setting; warehouse work may expose to heat, cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust, and fumes.
Supervision of Personnel

No direct supervision of others.
