Performs various non-clinical tasks to support patient care, including inventory control, linen management, patient care equipment cleaning, and patient transport. Coordinates functions within the department or clinical area, delivering high-quality customer service to co-workers, patients, and staff. Works independently to prioritize tasks, ensuring the best patient and family experience by optimizing customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support care delivery by performing support activities.
2. Assist with non-clinical activities supporting care delivery.
3. Transport patients, belongings, and deceased individuals between departments.
4. Help prepare patients for transport, ensuring proper identification.
5. Manage resources such as supplies, linen, and equipment for the clinical area.
6. Maintain current knowledge of provided resources and operations.
7. Support performance metrics through data entry.
8. Identify improvement opportunities and work to implement solutions.
9. Participate as a team member, supporting clinical staff and mentoring new staff.
10. Keep supply and storage areas organized and clean.
11. Ensure a safe environment by maintaining order and safety standards.
12. Follow OSHA, Department of Health, and Joint Commission regulations.

Work is performed in a clinical environment. The role requires compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Position Details:

• Sign-on bonus of $1,125 for eligible candidates.
• Starting hourly rate of $15.25, with increased rates for experienced individuals and shift differentials.
• Hours: 9:30am-4:00pm.
