Job Summary
Performs non-clinical tasks to support patient care, including inventory control, linen management, patient care equipment cleaning, and patient transport. Coordinates within the department or clinical area, delivering high customer service to colleagues, patients, and staff. Works independently to prioritize tasks, ensuring an excellent patient/family experience by optimizing all interactions.

Job Duties

1. Support care delivery by performing necessary activities.
2. Assist with non-clinical tasks supporting care delivery.
3. Transport patients, belongings, and deceased individuals.
4. Help prepare patients for transport.
5. Properly identify patients before transport, ensuring they wear ID bands.
6. Manage resources in the clinical area, including procurement, transport, storage, cleaning, and maintenance.
7. Maintain current knowledge of supplies, equipment, and operations.
8. Support performance metrics through data entry.
9. Suggest improvements and work to implement solutions.
10. Participate as a team member, supporting clinical staff and mentoring new staff.
11. Keep supply and storage areas organized and clean.
12. Ensure a safe environment by maintaining order and safety standards.
13. Follow OSHA, Department of Health, and Joint Commission regulations.

Position Details

• Offering a $1,125 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
• Minimum hourly rate of $15.25, with increases for experience and shift differentials.
• Up to $40,000 in financial support for nursing education.
