Job Summary

Performs non-clinical tasks to support patient care, including inventory control, linen management, equipment cleaning, and patient transport. Coordinates within the department or clinical area, providing excellent customer service to staff and patients. Works independently to prioritize tasks and ensures an optimal patient and family experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support care delivery by performing related activities.
  • Assist with non-clinical activities supporting care delivery.
  • Transport patients, belongings, and deceased persons.
  • Prepare patients for transport and verify patient identity.
  • Manage resources such as supplies, linen, and equipment.
  • Maintain current knowledge of department resources and operations.
  • Support performance metrics through data entry.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Contribute to a team environment, support clinical staff, and mentor new employees.
  • Keep areas organized and maintain a safe environment following OSHA and other regulations.
Position Details

Receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus, with a starting pay of $15.25/hour and potential shift differentials. Hours are 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm, working every third weekend and two holidays annually. Up to $40,000 in educational support for nursing training.
