The primary role of the Logistics Specialist involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and customer delivery, including staging products at customer locations. The LS must represent TireHub professionally, maintain safe driving practices, provide excellent customer service, and foster strong relationships.

When you say YES to something bigger:

Starting wage of $19.50/hr, with increases after 90 days, 180 days, and 1 year.

Schedule: Monday through Saturday with fluctuating day shift hours.

This position reports to an Assistant TLC Leader.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Task distribution such as warehousing, delivery, and vehicle maintenance (adjusted as needed).
  • Loading, unloading, inspecting, and tallying tires on transport vehicles.
  • Following safety standards for packing, labeling, and storing orders.
  • Operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
  • Conducting inventory counts and labels.
  • Collecting payments on Cash on Delivery transactions.
  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and mechanical condition.
  • Performing vehicle inspections and reporting issues.
  • Completing maintenance logs.
  • Adhering to policies and participating in ongoing training.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Required for this role:

  • At least 1 year of general work experience
  • Valid driver’s license and 2+ years driving experience
  • Age 19 or older

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift, pull, push, or move tires up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting
  • Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Loading/unloading efficiently and accurately
  • Work at heights up to 35 feet and operate forklifts for up to 8 hours
  • Follow traffic laws and drive safely
  • Work independently or with a team
  • Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems
  • Maintain forklift certification and valid driver’s license

Working Conditions:

  • Physical activity including lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing, and balancing
  • Handling hazardous materials and wearing protective gear as needed
  • Visual requirements including close, distance, and peripheral vision
  • Work in warehouses and customer locations, sometimes in non-climate-controlled environments
