The DOT Driver Trainee position involves delivering products along assigned routes with multiple stops of varying difficulty. Responsibilities include maintaining delivery time windows, keeping accurate records, and ensuring vehicle and cargo safety. Successful completion of training will lead to promotion to a Driver DOT position.

Responsibilities include:

1. Delivering products along assigned routes with multiple stops.
2. Reading customer invoices to determine items for delivery.
3. Assembling customer orders for delivery.
4. Maintaining delivery schedules and accuracy, ensuring no damage occurs.
5. Obeying traffic laws and following transportation procedures.
6. Inspecting and maintaining vehicle condition and supplies.
7. Reporting mechanical issues, delays, accidents, or traffic situations.

Job Qualifications:

1. Valid Class A CDL driver’s license required.
2. Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and instructions.
3. Mathematical skills for measuring and calculating.
4. Ability to prioritize tasks and provide timely responses.
5. Knowledge of customer service principles.
6. High School diploma or GED, with at least one year of related experience or training.
