Role Overview

The primary role of the Logistics Specialist involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and customer delivery, including staging products at customer locations. The LS must represent TireHub professionally, maintain safe driving practices, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster strong relationships.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting wage of $19.15/hr., with progression after 90 days, 180 days, and 1 year. Work days are Monday through Saturday with fluctuating day shift hours.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to an Assistant TLC Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Distribute tasks including warehousing, delivery, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires; operate equipment safely.
  • Conduct inventory counts and labeling.
  • Handle payments for COD transactions.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
  • Complete maintenance logs and ensure policy compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements

  • At least 1 year of general work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years driving history.
  • Must be 19 years or older.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, and multitask.
  • Experience with GPS, Manifest, and forklift operation (certification maintained).

Working Conditions

Physical requirements include lifting, pulling, pushing tires up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, and operating equipment in various environments. Extended hours, including nights and weekends, may be required. Safety equipment and precautions are mandatory.

Qualifications & Certifications

Required: Driver's License

Preferred: Ability to move tires with/without assistance, perform frequent bending/twisting/lifting, and place received and shipped products in the warehouse.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
