Job summary

Valley Companies seeks a Logistics Specialist - LTL to manage key customer accounts, quote, schedule, and track shipments, and build trust with customers who rely on basic to premium deliveries. You will collaborate across teams to ensure timely, accurate updates and continuous improvements in processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Logistics knowledge and understanding of LTL shipping requirements preferred.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Phone, email, and face-to-face etiquette.
• Creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Quote, schedule, and track customer shipments via multiple programs and media.
• Effectively communicate with customers, carriers, and coworkers verbally and electronically.
• Problem-solve across logistical functions.
• Update customer reactively and proactively regarding their shipments.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with team members for accounts, modes, and other departments.
