PacifiCorp is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Salt Lake City, UT to complete training and perform material handling, storage, and transport duties. The role requires a Class A CDL and the ability to follow safety and procedural paperwork.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or proof of equivalent in the United States.
• 2+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a Class A CDL.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Demonstrated ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Knowledge of Spreadsheet software, inventory software, email software and database software (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Order, receive, store, transport, and issue materials.
• Prepare all necessary papers in connection therewith.
• Become thoroughly familiar with stores routine and account procedures.
• Perform and/or direct the operation of a storeroom.
• Keep accurate records of declared hazardous materials and review test results.
• Responsible for storage of materials and equipment.
• Receive, issue and return material in storerooms and yards.
• Inventory incoming materials to verify receipt of items on requisitions or invoices.
• Fill orders or issue supplies from stock.
• Conduct periodic and special inventories of materials.
• Transport material to other departments or storerooms using hand trucks, forklifts, or industrial vehicles.
• Verify stock numbers and voltage types and equipment to job site.
• Transport material and equipment to job site.
• Take oil samples from transformers and other electrical devices for PCB testing, mark PCB test results on oil filled equipment.
