Job summary

Pacific Supply seeks a skilled Material Handler/Delivery Driver to join our Salt Lake City team, delivering building materials to jobsites safely and on time.

You’ll load and unload, pull and stage materials, and operate yard equipment in a fast-paced environment. CDL is required, with a clean driving record and the possibility of company-sponsored training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL license and clean driving record.
• CDL permit with interest in company-sponsored training.
• Career goals of becoming a CDL driver while working as a material handler.

Responsibilities

• Assists yard personnel in pulling and staging of inter-company orders, loading of trucks, and the receiving of materials.
• Operates yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Expedites the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
• Receives and carries out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
• Ensures timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites.
• Completes pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading company truck at jobsites.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Candidates will be responsible for delivering building materials using a company vehicle and requires the candidate have ability to do heavy lifting. Essential qualifications include the following:
