Job summary

TireHub is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Windsor, CT. The role involves loading/unloading tires, staging for delivery, and representing TireHub professionally at customer sites while maintaining safe driving practices.

The position offers a starting wage of $20.05 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over the first year, and requires driving, lifting up to 50 lbs, and weekend availability. Reports to an Assistant TLC Leader and includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general work experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of driving history, with a valid driver's license.
• Must be 19 years old or older.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Repeatedly lift, pull, push and/or move tires (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Distribution of tasks including general warehousing.
• Delivery services.
• Vehicle maintenance.
• Adjustments to these allocations as business needs evolve.
• Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles.
• Follows TireHub safety standards with respect to packing, labeling, and palletizing orders.
• Operates forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks, adhering to safety protocols.
• Conducts cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of inventory control.
• Collects payments from customers on COD transactions.
• Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
• Performs pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and reports issues.
• Completes driver and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Ensures compliance with TireHub policies.
• Participates in ongoing training.
