Washington County Sheriff's Office Emergency Management Division is seeking a dependable, organized Logistics Specialist to join our team. This full-time, benefits-eligible role ensures people, equipment, supplies, and resources are ready during emergencies to support community safety.
Responsibilities include coordinating and tracking resources, maintaining equipment and readiness records, and assisting with community preparedness education.

$21.53 to $32.10 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Washington County is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Logistics Specialist to join our Emergency Management team. This position helps ensure the people, equipment, supplies, and resources needed during emergencies are ready when our community needs them most.
Preferred: CDL, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, FEMA emergency logistics coursework, IC-300/400, EOC or Incident Management Team logistics experience.
The ideal candidate can stay composed when priorities change, communicate effectively, and isn't afraid to jump in and get the job done. This position includes office, warehouse, field, and emergency-response work and may require physical equipment handling, irregular or extended hours, on-call assignments, and emergency response outside normal working hours.
