Job summary

Job description

The Logistics Coordinator (Emergency Management Program Specialist 2) is a 10-month non-permanent civilian position with Washington State's Emergency Management Division that provides professional-level support for developing, implementing, and delivering emergency management services with focus on logistics and mutual aid. The role reports to the Logistics Program Supervisor and involves developing statewide emergency plans, coordinating with federal and local partners, conducting outreach and training, and supporting operations during emergencies at the State Emergency Operations Center.

Key qualifications:
  • Two years of experience as an Emergency Management Program Specialist 1, OR a Bachelor's degree plus two years of professional emergency management experience

  • Willingness to work on military-controlled access installation and obtain REAL * ID compliant identification
  • Ability to work in fast-paced emergency response environments with potential rotating shifts including weekends and evenings
