NIWC PAC CDL & ISR ISEA Support provides In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) support for tactical data links and related systems in support of the US Navy. Support areas include Technical Assistance, Fleet In-Service Engineering Support, Maintenance Support, In-Service Risk Management, Integrated Logistics Support, Technical Oversight of commercial/non-governmental In-Service engineering activities, Configuration Management, Readiness and Life Cycle Analysis, Technical Documentation Development and Reliability/Availability and Maintainability (RAM) reporting and metrics.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Logistics Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans, performing Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), managing configuration and maintenance documentation, and supporting installation and fielding efforts on the NIWC PAC CDL & ISR ISEA Support contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

What You'll Do
  • Provide logistics services in support of the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) Common Data Link (CDL) and distributed Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) Support program.
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Logistics Support Plan(s) (ILSP); User's Logistics Support Summary(s) (ULSS); Logistics Requirements and Funding Summary(s) (LRFS); Logistics Support Analysis Plan(s) (LSAP); Computer Resources Integrated Support Document (CRISD) and life cycle cost estimating.
  • Perform Logistic Support Analysis of systems/equipment through the life cycle of the systems/equipment to address engineering changes.
  • Provide a Failure Analysis and Corrective Action Report upon findings giving possible solutions for government consideration.
  • Develop, update and validate system technical manuals, manual supplements and drawings to support operation and maintenance.
  • Review and provide recommended changes to formal training for both the organizational level and maintenance level.
  • Develop and conduct job skills-type training (organization and maintenance) for system/equipment following system/equipment upgrade.
  • Support the development and sustainment of Level of Repair Analysis (LORA); FMECA; Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) documentation.
  • Provide Planned Maintenance System Support.
  • Develop and deliver Provisioning Technical Documentation using the Interactive Computer-Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) or other government-approved Automated Data Processing (ADP) capability.
  • Provide Configuration Management support in order to provide deployment-ready systems for the fleet.
  • Provide WS 3.5 Installation and Fielding Support to include, but not limited to installation analysis including ship checks and site surveys as well as installation design planning, and facility engineering, to include development of Base Electronic System Engineering Plans (BESEP), IDP, Equipment Facility Requirements (EFR), and Ship Alteration (SHIPALT) documentation.
  • Conduct and support Pre-installation Test and Check-Out.
  • Provide on-site support and coordination of installations and field change installations, including preparation and presentation of pre- and post-installation briefs, and daily briefs to ship’s and shore station’s personnel, as required.
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
  • Five (5) years of experience providing logistics support services directly to a NAVWAR Echelon III program office.
  • Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
  • The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel Required ~10% travel required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $72,500.00 - $89,094.00. This position is eligible to participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses, and other rewards and benefits. The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications. To drive fair pay practices for employees, INDUS conducts regular comparisons across our employee groups and the industry.
