- Support the PMA-207 C-130 Integrated Product Team and C-130 Lead Assistant Program Manager Logistics with sustainment-related logistics management
- Assess supportability and maintainability of proposed systems and technology applications
- Recommend feasible design alternatives for systems maintainability challenges
- Develop support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements
- Review support-facility requirements and plan activation of system support sites
- Review and track Engineering Change Proposals through final installation on each end item
- Participate in PMA leadership, IPT, and functional competency meetings
- Identify and support Item Unique Identification programs
- Maintain logistics planning documentation throughout the C/KC-130 systems lifecycle
- Manage procurement resources and ECPs/TDs for C/KC-130 modifications
- Prepare briefing documentation for integrated logistics requirements
- Develop readiness initiatives to reduce lifecycle costs
- Identify and manage DMSMS challenges
- Track, receive, and monitor asset movement using logistics tools and shipping/transportation processes
- Support spares procurement schedules, quantities, Material Support Date planning, and supply-related logistics documentation
- Coordinate sustainment efforts across C-130 functional areas and support readiness-cell initiatives
- Support DMSMS issue resolution with USN/USAF IPTs and OEMs
- Resolve Support Equipment deficits through procurement initiatives
- Review sustainment planning, procurement, readiness, engineering change, site activation, training, sparing, and support-equipment documentation
Requirements
- 12 years or more of experience in the field or a related area
- May require a master's degree
- Familiarity with logistics concepts, practices, and procedures
- Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Ability to independently perform complicated tasks
- Ability to consult on complex projects
- May lead and direct the work of others
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required due to customer-related requirements
- Knowledge of logistics tools, stock-level determination, shipping, and transportation processes
- Knowledge of Central Kitting Authority and kitting processes
- Knowledge of procurement, provisioning, and interim supply support
- Knowledge of Field Support Team functions, LSA reporting, and logistics-product development
- Experience or knowledge supporting C/KC-130 systems logistics, sustainment, spares, support equipment, and DMSMS initiatives
