US 1 Shorthaul in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure safety, and manage on-site staff including yard drivers. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and coordinating receiving, storage, and shipping of finished goods, aligning with KPIs and customer expectations.

Candidates should have CDL, OSHA certification preferred, and 7+ years in logistics with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 7+ years of logistics/yard/transportation experience.
• CDL required; OSHA certification preferred; OTR/ Yard Jockey experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily operations in line with KPIs and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with customer staff to ensure safe and timely operations and weekly discussions for volumes, schedules, issues.
• Oversee daily operations, while controlling personnel and logistics.
• Supervise yard and office activities, including QA, space management, logistics, and customer service.
• Ensure site demands are met and maximize efficiency while minimizing overtime.
• Lead staff development, coaching, and engagement to maintain a strong team.
