Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a General Manager to lead a dynamic warehouse operation, drive performance, and strengthen customer relationships. You will oversee teams, optimize processes, and partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives while maintaining profitability and service excellence.

You will shape the operation, align with safety and regulatory requirements, and build a high-performing, customer-focused team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7+ years of management experience in a 3PL environment with P&L responsibility.
• Strong operational and financial management skills.
• Proven leadership and relationship-management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead overall warehouse operations and the management team, ensuring productivity, service, quality, safety, and operational objectives are consistently achieved.
• Develop and manage the facility operating budget, monitoring cost, revenue, profitability, resource allocation, and efficient storage utilization.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including service-level expectations, issue resolution, contract negotiations, pricing, and ongoing account performance.
• Lead workforce and resource planning, ensuring appropriate staffing, effective communication, employee development, conflict resolution, and adherence to HR policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain operational systems, processes, and standards that support efficient use of facilities, equipment, technology, inventory, sanitation, security, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including OSHA and applicable Retail and Pharma regulations, while supporting continuous improvement and overall facility performance.

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field required.
• 7+ years of management experience in a 3PL environment with P&L responsibility, preferably within the automotive or aerospace sectors.
• Strong operational and financial management skills, including workforce planning, staffing, budgeting, prioritization, and resource management.
• Proven leadership and relationship-management skills, with the ability to lead teams, build effective partnerships, and communicate professionally with employees, customers, and senior leadership.
• Highly organized, analytical, and methodical, with strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse/material-handling operations, with a professional, approachable business demeanor.
