Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a Contractor Logistics Support Specialist to provide end-to-end logistics coordination for CLS programs, including supply, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of simulator training systems. The role requires understanding lifecycle logistics, planning and cost analysis, and close work with engineers and program managers.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in logistics, prefer experience in simulation/training environments, and be eligible for DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / AS or BS degree preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience in Logistics or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistic support such as engineering support, identifying requirements for spare and repair parts, facilities, materiel, and equipment in support of maintenance, training, and upkeep on simulator training systems.
• Perform logistics provisioning and documentation research and analyses providing recommendations and/or deliverable products supporting contractual logistics requirements.
• Create standard operating procedures and work instructions related to assigned duties.
• Interface with Logistics Manager, Program Managers, Project Engineers and other design/system engineers.
• Create requisitions for required components in support of CLS sites.
• Monitor procurement processes/activities to ensure expeditious processing of material.
• Track material through procurement process from program request through delivery to site.
• Coordinate with Trade Compliance for shipping documentation required for international shipments.
• Display good judgment and creativity in solving complex logistics technical problems and provide detailed recommendations.
• Support site personnel with CMMS database for CLS sites, including maintenance, asset tracking, inventory, and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Identify, mitigate, and manage risks of obsolescence to maintain system supportability and reduce costs.
