Candidates should have at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, be able to read safety rules and operate within DOT guidelines, and be willing to work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math computations.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Meets DOT regulations including physical requirements.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Can work varied shifts, weekends and overtime.
• One year of prior tractor-trailer driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to transport trailers to and from DC docks for loading, unloading and storage.
• Perform Driver's Daily Checklist before each shift; report any defects.
• Adhere to corporate, departmental and safety standards.
• Maintain Class A CDL and comply with DOT regulations.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
