Job summary

Red Dot Buildings, based in Athens, Texas, is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound materials and ensure on-time delivery across Texas and neighboring states.

You will coordinate truck traffic, maintain accurate shipping documents, and communicate with carriers and internal departments to support project delivery. A proactive, organized approach is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, or related environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, schedules, and priorities simultaneously.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative approach with carriers, drivers, project managers, purchasing, loading, and receiving teams.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound truck traffic.
• Maintain shipping documentation and communicate with carriers and internal teams.
• Support shipping schedules and shipment planning with the Shipping Manager.
• Assist with planning efficient delivery routes.
• Schedule outside carriers for outbound loads.
• Prepare and review driver paperwork and ensure documents are complete.
• Investigate and resolve shipping concerns, including lost or damaged materials.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with Receiving Supervisor and team.
• Track loading progress and maintain loading schedules with the Loading Manager.
• Update financial records and purchasing to locate missing materials.
