Job summary

iDC Logistics Inc. in Fontana, CA is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Clerk to manage documentation and ensure proper loading of outbound trailers. Responsibilities include preparing production documents, handling freight systems, and ensuring compliance with US customs rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. One year of computer-related job experience preferred.
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver production documents used to move freight in the warehouse/cross-dock.
• Utilize operating systems to perform transactions in support of production and warehouse management.
• Verify packets and paperwork comply with US Customs Rules and Regulations.
• Ensure freight and cargo are properly handled, identified, documented and communicated.
• Gather accurate information about each closed-out trailer.
• Sort out overages, shortages, damage, or mis-loads and provide disposition to shift/account operations manager.
• Enter each closed-out load into the computer system and compare load slips to data.
• Ensure loads are not overweight and CBM is accurate; update system to seal each load.
• Produce bills of lading, manifest and check sheets for each sealed load; assemble with manifest and bills of lading.
• Maintain hard copy files of all paperwork related to sealed loads and received trailers.
• Continuously update system with current status on each load.
• Act as a point person to relay carrier concerns to the customer service center.
• Perform research on problem data or reported OS&Ds.
