Job summary

North Coast Seafoods in Boston, MA seeks a full-time Shipper/Receiver to ensure accurate shipping and receiving, inventory control, and cooler operations. You will support order processing, stockroom upkeep, and coordination of large shipments under Shipping & Receiving leadership.

The role reports to the Shipping & Receiving Manager for the assigned shift and requires forklift experience, ability to operate scanning equipment, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping or receiving roles is preferred.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the flow of goods; shipping and receiving of product
• Obtain and process product orders
• Receive, register and distribute packages and letters within the company
• Maintain the stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items
• Assist with large shipments and planning of the logistics to ensure storage space
• Keep files of goods shipped and received
• Ensure the right products are delivered on time
• Assist with quality, quantity, and customer satisfaction
• Responsible for cleanliness and organization of coolers and warehouse orders
• Tracking and reporting to leadership: back-orders, short-list items, unfulfilled orders
