Key Responsibilities:

Executive S&OP Processes for EEMEA:

  • Drive monthly Executive Sales & Operations Meeting for EEMEA region as EEMEA IBP Lead
  • Gather input and materials from content owners for monthly Exec S&OP meeting for EEMEA region
  • Prepare the monthly deck and share the pre-read with attendees prior to the meeting.
  • Manage meeting invites and share with the attendees for the entire year based on the IEO calendar at the beginning of each year
  • Draft agendas for upcoming meetings, including ad hoc topics, project status updates, and inviting guest speakers where necessary.
  • Capture action items emerging in these monthly meetings and follow up on those for on time completion
  • Drive for improvement in the content and the functionality of the meeting to increase the effectiveness of this monthly cycle

Budget Management for EEMEA:

  • Consolidation and coordination of SCM Ops budget within EEMEA region, for all markets
  • Drive each forecasting cycle for the whole region; updating assumptions, validating baseline for all operations/functions in the region, building the budget forecast for each market/function, ensure timely submission of budget estimates in collaboration with relevant regional Finance teams
  • Create & Manage Purchase Orders (POs) for 3PL providers in the region; raising annual POs, managing POs during the year, validating and approving invoices for these POs, resolving invoice issues with the audit and finance teams where necessary.
  • Conduct monthly checks on actual invoices and charges, explaining the drivers/root causes on variances of actuals vs latest submitted forecast estimate where the variances exceeds the threshold.
  • Ensure monthly accruals are submitted for each PO across various markets and for EEMEA Regional Transportation ops.
  • Consolidate EEMEA market and function data into summary tables for budget cycle discussions, explaining drivers on the changes for budget figures.
  • Align management presentations on drivers and explanations, providing comparisons and insights on EEMEA accounts, portfolio volume splits, and cost structures (fixed/variable costs).

Regional Transportation Management:

  • Oversee PO management for regional transportation across all region for different freight forwarder/ logistics providers
  • Manage monthly accruals process based on invoice status and services received but not billed by the month end in line with finance teams.
  • Monitor and approve tender requests in the tender management tool for regional transportation specific to EEMEA lanes.
  • Analyse actuals spent for each market, compare with forecasted amounts, explain the drivers for variances if any
  • Use the actual baseline as a basis for building the forecast for transportation cost for each route/lane for Market-SKU combinations across the region. Ensure timely submission of the budget as well as the drivers and assumptions.
