Logistics Security Officer at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Fountain, CO is a full-time role focused on protecting people, property, and assets through patrols, access control, and emergency response.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Reception and gate centered roles responsible for maintaining a professional, welcoming, calm, and secure environment.
• Maintain and monitor reception area.
• Greet and check in employees, visitors, truck drivers, vendors, and other authorized personnel.
• Assist truck drivers with check-in, directions, documentation, and site procedures.
• Maintain organized records and file documentation appropriately.
• Respond professionally to queries and routine situations.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation required.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Logistics Security Officer — Full Time

Site Location: Fountain, CO

Wage : $17.00/HR

Schedule : Ability to work 1st & 2nd shifts

Thurs, Fri & Sat : 4PM-12AM (Reception desk)

Sat&Sun : 8AM-4PM (Reception desk)

Sat&Sun : 8AM-8PM

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
