Job summary

Sika is seeking a highly organized Logistics Coordinator for our Benicia, California production facility. You will support shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory functions, maintain accurate records, and provide SAP system support across logistics operations.

As part of the site team, you will collaborate with Logistics, Production, and Quality as needed, with flexibility to cover related duties and overtime when required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory or logistics systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with departments, carriers, vendors, and customers regarding shipment schedules and issue resolution.
• Prepare shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation with high accuracy.
• Support warehouse and plant operations to ensure inbound and outbound deadlines are met.
• Process and complete shipment transactions in SAP accurately and on time.
• Receive raw materials and inventory into SAP.
• Provide SAP support to warehouse personnel, including label printing and troubleshooting.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and reporting.
• Maintain organized warehouse and logistics records.
• Participate in cross-functional plant activities and special projects.
