Compass Forwarding, a leading international freight forwarder, is expanding our sales team in the Midwest! We’re hiring a remote, field-based Sales Representative based in the Chicago area to drive growth across the region.

We’re open to both entry-level candidatesand experienced logistics sales professionals. If you’re motivated, independent, and ready to close deals — we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, pitch, and win new business across air, ocean, and domestic freight services
  • Manage a regional pipeline of potential clients across industries
  • Represent Compass at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
  • Consistently work toward monthly and quarterly sales goals

What You Bring:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently
  • Sales experience preferred; logistics background a plus
  • Book of business or client relationships is a strong advantage for experienced candidates

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $50,000–$80,000+, depending on experience and/or transferrable business
    • (Higher base potential for well-qualified candidates with proven logistics sales performance)
