Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support facility operations. You will unload, receive, stock, and ship goods, coordinate shipments to client sites, and assist with related paperwork.

This role requires operating lifts and light trucks, with attention to safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and 2–5 years of related experience, plus forklift and aerial lift certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–5 years of related experience.
• Forklift and aerial lift certifications; fall protection certification.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; UPS/FEDEX systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments and verify orders against purchase documents.
• Receive, process, and stock merchandise; prepare shipments for delivery or return to vendors.
• Operate warehouse lifts and equipment; move goods within receiving and stocking areas.
• Coordinate shipments to other sites and communicate status with departments and drivers.
• Maintain records; handle discrepancies and damaged merchandise; assist with overtime as needed.
