Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in shipping, receiving, warehouse or logistics in manufacturing or distribution.
• Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels and part numbers.
• ERP or inventory systems experience preferred, SAP a plus.
• Forklift certification required or can be obtained within defined timeframe.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, part numbers, and condition.
• Record receiving transactions accurately in ERP or inventory system.
• Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, labeling and staging materials.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Move materials to designated storage or production areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisor.
• Ensure materials are identified, labeled, and stored properly.
• Follow safety procedures including forklift, PPE, and handling requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support production and internal departments by ensuring timely material movement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
