Job summary

ManpowerGroup is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Quincy, IL, to support the logistics department with accurate entry of carrier details and preparation of shipping documents. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and proactive teamwork.

You will assist drivers and visitors, process loading, verify routing, and generate essential operational reports while maintaining compliance with safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous service while assisting drivers, vendors, and visitors both in person and over the phone.
• Process trucks to be loaded, including confirming pickup numbers, routing, Oracle entries, and printing/processing BOLs.
• Ensure accurate entry of carrier information into the system and follow work order instructions such as faxing COAs and BOLs, recording seals, etc.
• Prepare late shipment reports and other operational reports like open orders and tons shipped.
• Maintain safety compliance by ensuring contractors and visitors are properly trained and up-to-date on required safety certifications.
