Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Receiving & Shipping Clerk in a manufacturing/warehouse environment in Nebraska. You will receive, verify, and process incoming materials, handle shipments, and maintain inventory accuracy using SAP and standard warehouse practices.

The role involves loading and unloading with powered industrial vehicles, preparing shipping docs, and supporting audits and process improvements. A high school diploma or GED is required, with at least one year in warehouse/logistics preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials and components.
• Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders; report discrepancies.
• Process receiving and shipping transactions in SAP and customer portals.
• Prepare shipping docs, labels, bills of lading, and ASN transactions.
• Load/unload shipments using Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs).
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organize materials in warehouse locations.
• Communicate shipment status and inventory concerns with supervisors and teammates.
• Maintain records per company procedures and retention requirements.
• Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and continuous improvement.
