Job summary

Talentify seeks a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Chantilly, VA for a 3-month contract. You will handle shipping, receiving, routing of materials, and data entry with attention to documentation and inventory accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have basic math skills, good communication, and teamwork. On-site schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST; must operate bar code scanners and MS Office; able to lift up to 70 pounds; comply with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Six months previous materials management experience.
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Some data entry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, verify, process, and route all materials into the facility and off-site facilities; enter receipts in the MM software.
• Notify Warehouse Manager of discrepancies between materials and shipping docs.
• Prepare shipments and documentation for outbound shipments.
• Manage Returned Goods process per SOP.
• Deliver stock to appropriate staging areas and rotate stock by receipt date/expiry.
