Job summary
Eaton is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate I for the South Milwaukee, WI facility. The role supports logistics tasks including inbound/outbound shipments, inventory control, and material handling on 1st shift. Starting hourly rate is $22.50, with overtime potential and shift premiums.
Core hours are 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with mandatory overtime possible. Benefits include health coverage, vacation, paid holidays, and weekly pay.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 1+ year forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Eaton will not sponsor immigration or provide CPT/OPT/STEM OPT; not offered.
- No relocation assistance; within 50-mile radius; Military service exemption applies.
Responsibilities
- Interface with other departments regarding material flow.
- Operate forklifts to move materials and sustain department flow.
- Perform various assembly tasks and follow specifications/instructions.
- Crating, shipping, receiving duties, data entry, and part packing as needed.
- Be trained in at least one work center within Shipping and Receiving.
