Job summary

DP World Contract Logistics in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee quality control processes and ensure products and services meet established standards and customer requirements.

You will lead the inventory control team, monitor KPIs and quality metrics, coordinate with operations and the client, and drive audits and process improvements while maintaining detailed documentation and a coaching mindset.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in logistics or manufacturing, preferably in Inventory Control.
• Managerial experience with coaching staff and performance reviews.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and warehouse systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong investigative patience in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the inventory control team in day-to-day operations and personnel tasks.
• Monitor daily KPIs, quality metrics, and timecard exceptions; ensure accurate reporting.
• Coordinate with operational departments to ensure smooth information flow with clients.
• Provide guidance to team members and support DP World objectives.
• Facilitate audits and handle other duties as assigned.
