Adecco US, Inc. is hiring a Logistics / Project Coordinator on a temporary basis for our client, a global leader in technology, helping companies and countries reduce emissions across the energy landscape.

The position may be temp-to-hire with an hourly rate of $21.00, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, in Wichita, Kansas. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401K and paid leave where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, updates and communicates master data, delivery schedules, stock-and-order status and contract information from suppliers, procurement, and logistic service providers.
• Analyzes operational logistic status, informs involved stakeholders adequately, and derives and implements alternatives to changing situations.
• Completes and communicates deficiency and status reports regarding material and product availability for Project Logistics Management (PLM).
• Documents and processes complaints or transport damages with stakeholders (PLM, Purchase, Insurance, Controlling, Quality, Engineering) and proposes remedial measures with providers.
• Coordinates return of logistic infrastructure and on-site equipment used, and steers logistics operations with service providers.
• Supports PLM in development, calculation and implementation of logistic contingency measures.
• Supports PLM in concluding project evaluation and advancing the customer supply process.
• May support PLM in tender preparation as well as supplier evaluation.
• May improve processes, business methods or technical components
