Caterpillar is seeking a Logistics Production Manager in Decatur, IL. You will lead and energize kitting, storage, and repackaging operations to maintain peak production, safety, and quality in a 1st shift role.

You will supervise a team, develop reports, drive process improvements, and partner with internal stakeholders to meet People, Quality, Velocity and Cost goals in a 24/7 powered environment. Strong leadership and RCCA experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong background in leadership, team building and execution.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of employees.
• Experience leading in a union environment.
• Experience with RCCA.

Responsibilities

• Create reports and records of logistic processes and inventory.
• Prepare, maintain, and update documentation related to logistic procedures and safety and quality standards.

You will be responsible for meeting Caterpillar’s goals for People, Quality, Velocity and Cost that support a 24/7 operation. This position will support the kitting business and has routine interactions with internal business partners, cross facility leaders, suppliers, carriers, and ~20 direct report teammates.
