Job summary

Ingredion is offering a Logistics Intern position in Westchester, IL, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will support NA logistics strategy, collaborating with manufacturing, distribution, customer service and sales to apply continuous improvement methodologies and improve service levels.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in SCM/IE/Finance or related field, GPA 3.0+, and the ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer internship.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in SCM, IE, Finance or related field with GPA 3.0/4.0 preferred.
• Ability to work 40 hrs per week during the summer internship.
• Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement experience or training.
• Interest in building queries and managing data with Access, Excel, PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad-hoc operations analyses including pricing requests and network analysis.
• Support planning and development of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Codify and institutionalize standard methodologies within the logistics group.
• Provide data-driven, out-of-the-box solutions to daily logistics challenges.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to improve logistics delivery for customers.
