Job summary

LPC is seeking an Expeditor to coordinate and document the movement of parts, test bars and split lots across the plant. You will liaise with multiple departments to meet delivery schedules and ensure accurate data entry for routing and shipping.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safe operation of equipment, and effective communication within a manufacturing environment. Training is provided and forklift safety is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of product movement as demonstrated by dispatcher duties.
• Equivalent combination of classroom training and work experience.
• Basic ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to organize information and materials with attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license for positions that drive PCC vehicles.
• Ability to follow instruction and coordinate activities with others.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 30–75 pounds and work in challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Parts Expediting: ensure accurate and efficient movement of parts between departments.
• Test Bar Coordination: track and move test bar materials through production and inspection.
• Split Lot Coordination: split and reissue parts into new lots and input data.
• Planning Assistance: help prepare schedules and shipping reports.
• Routing: coordinate paperwork to initiate routing changes.
• Safety: follow safety rules and operate equipment safely.
