Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA is seeking a materials coordinator to procure and expedite delivery of parts, raw materials, and supplies to meet production schedules and customer requirements.

The role requires experience in material handling, forklift and tug operations, and collaboration with Planning, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to maintain stock accuracy and on-time fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a California class "C" driver's license.
• Knowledge of blueprint and technical data comprehension.
• Experience in material handling.

Responsibilities

• Procures and expedites delivery of parts and materials to meet emergencies and production schedules.
• Initiates release of balance stock orders to cover current production requirements and ensures timely deliveries.
• Interacts with Planning, Scheduling, Engineering, Material, Tooling Order Writing, Fabrication, Inspection, and Assembly teams to manage stock, paperwork, and systems.
