Schneider National, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Logistics Planner to match owner-operators and equipment to customer loads in a defined market. The role partners with operations, customer service, sales, and pricing to ensure efficient load planning and dependable service.

The position is full-time on a Monday–Friday schedule, with first shift hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and involves onboarding new locations and continuous improvement through data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of transportation or truck dispatch experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work with a variety of teams.

Responsibilities

• Create a market plan based on availability and adjust as conditions shift.
• Provide load options to owner-operators based on market plans.
• Analyze shipping trends and implement continuous improvements.
• Use planning and capacity utilization tools.
• Provide insights to customer service and sales to influence decisions.
• Onboard new locations and customers.
• Identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Provide feedback to pricing on long-term challenges and opportunities.
