Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred or 2+ years experience.
• Understanding of logistics principles and government practices.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with suppliers and clients.
• Review logistics functions and identify improvements.
• Propose cost/time reduction strategies for transporting goods.
• Process and correct material nomenclatures, part numbers and NSN.
• Track inventory and manage paperwork for movements and disposals.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and material standards.
• Present data to stakeholders (IPTs/Project Reviews).
• Operate forklift and support GFP reporting.
