Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Planner/Inventory Control I in Laurel, MD to coordinate inbound movement from suppliers to Client facilities, plan transportation, and optimize costs.

The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, carriers, and suppliers, uses TMS for planning, supports LEI and service levels, and drives continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), weights/limits.
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and tender inbound freight within PO timelines.
• Review loads and POs for accurate carrier assignments.
• Monitor inbound transportation to support LEI and service levels.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize routes and loads.
• Handle claims and documentation for inbound shipments and WIP.
• Support capacity planning and dock utilization improvements.
