Job summary

Koch Ag & Energy Solutions is seeking a Planner for the Koch Fertilizer Logistics Team in Wichita, KS. The role reports to a Koch Fertilizer Logistics Supervisor with an expected 15% travel and after-hours work during busy seasonal times.

You will coordinate shipments by truck, rail, and barge; optimize freight and service levels; manage inventory runouts for forecasting and resources; build relationships with customers and carriers; and contribute to transportation strategies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional work experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Excel (for example: creating spreadsheets, pivot tables, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments for customers by truck, rail, and/or barge.
• Oversee tactical freight optimization and service level monitoring.
• Maintain inventory runouts for reporting and planning, forecast and allocate resources.
• Build and sustain relationships with internal/external customers, terminals, and carrier contacts.
• Contribute to the implementation and transformation of transportation strategies and procedures.
