The Logistics Planner FLEX position is responsible for planning routes, scheduling resources, optimizing resources across multiple accounts, and executing the best allocation of people, trucks, and freight to increase revenue and profitability.

As a representative of Ryder, your work experience and education should meet the requirements below.

Essential Functions

• Monitor trip progression and resource utilization, using Geotab and Ryder Drive; coordinate with Driver Managers for schedule adherence and service issues.
• Manage equipment by selecting trailers and drivers, coordinating with Equipment Managers for operational efficiency.
• Assign loads to drivers to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and driver retention, considering current loads and route optimization.
• Collaborate with Account Management to develop solutions that increase revenue through freight management and recovery plans.
